Paige Harlan

Paige earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Cybersecurity from West Virginia University. During the summer before her senior year, she interned at GuidePoint Security where she learned the basics of cybersecurity. Following the summer internship, she worked part-time training under GuidePoint’s Application Security team. Shortly after, Paige was hired full-time as an Application Security Analyst for GuidePoint Security.

Her professional experience included performing challenging and complex assessments, sharing knowledge with team members, and contributing to growth and improvement of the practice.

Through this career, she has gained experience using numerous vulnerability finding tools like Burp Suite to learn how to identify common vulnerabilities in applications and how to prove their existence. Now as a security consultant, Paige wants to share her knowledge and experiences in order to help others on their path into cybersecurity. She has also co-presented at HackSpaceCon 2024 about modern API web application security.
